Tagged: nitric oxide, probiotics
Always looking for integrative therapies (e.g. see here: https://ntminfo.org/topic/integrative-therapy-for-ntm/) and potential biomarkers (e.g. see here: https://ntminfo.org/topic/ca-19-9-and-ntm-therapy/) as I am trying to manage, of course under medical and specialist supervision, without recurring to antibiotics.
1. I came across this clinical trial on nitric oxide:
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT03331445?cond=Non-Tuberculous+Mycobacterial+Pneumonia&rank=1
Any comment, experience, knowledge? Is anyone undertaking this treatment?
2. I hope I recollect correctly a talk by Dr. Kevin Winthrop during which there was an intriguing question on possible trials on inhaled probiotics. I could find nothing so far and there might be not much incentive in that direction.
What do you think? Do you have any addition information?
Thank you!
