Reply To: MAC germ growth?

Denise, I, too , have a dry cough and a hard time producing sputum. What did you mean by an “induced sputum”. Was that a bronchoscopy or is there another way. I thought I read where they could use something to help produce it. I need to take a sample to the dr tomorrow but am having a hard time and what I have produced just barely makes the 5 line on the tube. I have already had a bronchoscopy, so not sure why he need another now. Thanks, Donna
