Birder: WOW. Thank you so much for mentioning the thyroid being an autoimmune disorder. I didn’t know that. Not one of my Dr’s (including NIH) have ever mentioned that to me. When I was about 7 or 8 I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid and took little black pills (haven’t a clue what they were) for a few years. One more tidbit of information I can add to my pile of why and how long I’ve had MAC. Carole : > )
