I just moved to Prescott, AZ, from Pt. Angeles, WA. I lived there for 10 years, and I don’t know how I made it. We had no summer this year. The dreariness and the dampness nearly did me in. My MAC reared its head again this year. It first appeared in DC in 97 and went dormant after I did alternative therapies.
I cannot healthfully live in damp environments. My (DC) American doc trained in Chinese medicine best described my disease (Kartagener’s Syndrome now complicated by MAC) as a cold, damp disease. He said I would best benefit by being in a dry, hot climate. I suffered in a cold, damp climate. Prescott has four seasons, and so far, the warm sun is healing, even in winter. Just FYI.
