Propecia is normally only given to men. It can cause serious side effects for women of child bearing age. Since I’m 57 I don’t have to worry about it but I don’t like the idea of taking more pills. Rogaine can help with thin hair, I’ve been using it for years and it helps keep the hair you have but it doesn’t really grow in new hair except for some down like fuzz, at least that’s what it did for me. I still use it and I would recommend it to others. I know prolonged stress can cause or add to hair loss but I’ve been stressed all my life for one reason or another. I don’t feel my hair loss is due to stress.
