Press Release: Support NTMir When You Shop Online!
For a helpful chart explaining this process, please click here.
NTM Info & Research (NTMir) announces that it has teamed up with Maatiam, a California-based company that provides you an opportunity to buy everyday products from retailers who support NTMir by donating a portion of your purchase price to our cause.
Maatiam leverages established retailer marketing programs and enables shoppers to support NTMir through their online purchases. A percentage of all purchases will be automatically donated to NTMir, at no cost to you, by community-conscious national retailers.
To support NTMir through Maatiam, simply visit http://ntminfo.maatiam.com through your web browser, and choose the store in which you had already planned to make an online purchase. Pay using the standard methods offered by the retailer. When you make a purchase during that session, a portion of what you spend will go directly to NTMir. Anyone can support NTMir through the online purchases they are already making — at no extra cost. Retailers donate between 1% and 10% of a purchase to NTMir.
Over 160 popular retailers have signed up for this great program, including Amazon.com, Macy's, 1-800-Flowers, 1-800-Contacts, Apple, Drugstore.com, eBay, Office Depot, Cingular, Expedia.com, Orbitz.com, and dozens more. You do not have to create an account to use Maatiam, although you may create an account if you wish.
Consumers spent $170 billion dollars online in 2006, including travel purchases. NTMir hopes to capture just a tiny fraction of those dollars in 2007 and upcoming years. That tiny fraction can reap great benefits for NTM patients, physicians and researchers.
Please click here and bookmark or save the link in your favorites list to easily access NTMir’s Maatiam site every time you shop online.
